The Oticon Reveal launch brought Ashley and me to San Diego for new hearing aid technology, familiar faces, and a packed schedule—but plenty happened when we weren’t filming the official launch coverage. Join us behind the scenes at the Oticon Reveal hearing aid launch for the moments, mishaps, and conversations that made this trip memorable. ▶️ Watch my full Oticon Reveal launch vlog here: https://youtu.be/mNbc98ekJqs In this Dr. Cliff vlog, we mix a Coronado getaway with a firsthand look at what it takes to cover a major hearing aid launch. I’m wearing the Oticon Reveal hearing aids throughout the event, catching up with fellow hearing care professionals, and getting ready to ask a few questions about Oticon’s newest technology—and some of its more debatable design choices. What do providers think of the new Deep Plum color? How does the name “Reveal” stack up against the other recent hearing aid launches? And which experience at the event had me especially excited? Come along as we head from the opening reception into a full day of presentations, Auracast activities, and a surprisingly competitive test of our hearing aid knowledge. You’ll also get a preview of what we’re building behind the scenes at HearingUp and why a “quick update” to my hearing aid buyer’s guides has become a much bigger undertaking. Even with the beach nearby, the work has a way of following us. Of course, the trip doesn’t go entirely according to plan. An important personal item disappears, a promising lead sends us back to lost and found, and Ashley ends up involved in a proposed trade she never agreed to. Add in some Marine Corps memories, a memorable keynote, and the challenge of filming a vlog while being filmed for another vlog, and there’s plenty you won’t see in the main Oticon Reveal launch video. Come for the Oticon Reveal launch. Stay for everything happening between the presentations. 💬 Want more behind-the-scenes hearing aid launch videos with Ashley and me?
