What does an audiologist actually do on his day away from the clinic? Apparently, test brand new hearing aids, prepare an Auracast demonstration, work on a new show, install a dash cam, and stay at the office until nearly 11 p.m. In this vlog, I’m testing the new Oticon Reveal hearing aids along with another brand new hearing aid that I’m not allowed to tell you about yet. I also meet up with Dr. Jena Wingett to demonstrate Auracast at the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix as part of our effort to bring better hearing accessibility to more public venues. Along the way, I stop by our Scottsdale office, continue setting up the studio for the new Ask Doctor Cliff Show, discover that I already had the cable I drove across town to retrieve, and learn even more about the challenges of connecting Auracast transmitters to different audio systems. After the demo, it’s back to testing hearing aids, taking Grindel to the park, and finishing the day with a late night programming session at the clinic.
