Audiologists who test bilingual English-Spanish speaking children should be aware of this new validated tool, but should wait for broader normative data and independent replication before adopting it as a primary clinical measure.

There is a persistent shortage of validated bilingual speech-perception tests for pediatric audiology, and a normed English-Spanish tool could meaningfully improve diagnostic equity for the large and growing Spanish-speaking pediatric population.
