In this video, I’m making an important correction to my Phonak Infinio Sphere Ultra review. In our original testing, we believed we were evaluating Phonak’s DNN-based “Spheric Speech in Loud Noise” program powered by DEEPSONIC. After further discussions with Phonak’s R&D team, we discovered we were actually testing the standard “Speech in Loud Noise” program instead. We went back, reran testing at HearAdvisor using the correct program, and the updated results showed measurable improvements in speech performance when the DNN-based processing was properly engaged.
